Twitch Emote Maker is an independent AI tool that turns a short text idea, a selfie or a pet photo into custom emotes, sub badges, profile pictures and banners for Twitch, Discord, Kick and YouTube. Each emote is drawn to read at 28 px chat size and exported in every size those platforms ask for.

Who runs it
Twitch Emote Maker (twitchemotemaker.com) is a small independent project operated by Ye Fang Yao, United Kingdom. It is not a Twitch product and has no partnership with Twitch, Discord or any other platform mentioned on this site.
How it works
It works in two steps: an AI model draws the image on our server, then your browser resizes it. You describe an emote or upload a photo. We send the request to Google's Nano Banana image model, which draws the emote, then run the result through a background-removal model so emotes, badges and logos come out transparent.
The difference is in the prompting. A good emote has to work at 28 pixels, so our prompts are written for readability first: a head or half-body instead of a full figure, thick outlines, flat colours and a centred subject. We tested this on October 31, 2026 by viewing emotes in every style at 112, 56 and 28 px on dark and light chat backgrounds. Bold, big-headed emotes stayed clear; full-body characters and small text did not, so those are not our defaults. The full write-up is in the Twitch emote size guide, and the models, prompt rules and test results are on our methodology page.
Resizing happens in your browser. When you download, your device makes the 112, 56 and 28 px Twitch files, the 128 px Discord file and the other platform sizes from the original. Our free resizers, like the Twitch emote resizer, never upload your image at all.
How is it different from other emote makers?
The main difference is that it checks the emote at chat size before you download it. The result screen shows your emote in a dark and a light mock chat at the real 28 px, next to 112, 56 and 28 px previews with the file size of each. It also checks that the corners are transparent, so a leftover background shows up here instead of on your channel.
The download covers more platforms than Twitch alone: Discord (128 px), Kick, YouTube (48 and 24 px), 7TV and BTTV, in one ZIP. There are 8 styles, from Cute and Bold Lines to Pixel, Chibi, Kawaii, Anime, 3D and Meme. If you want a whole matching set, the Channel Kit makes 15 pieces from one character: six emotes, three sub badges, a PFP, a banner, three panels and an offline screen.
What we don't do
- We do not use your photos, prompts or results to train AI models.
- Uploaded photos are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not generate hateful, sexual or violent content. Prompts like that are blocked before anything is generated.
Emotes you pay for are saved in My Emotes in your account until you delete them, and they stay private unless you choose to share them. The free emote a guest makes is added to the public free Twitch emotes gallery once it passes moderation. You own them and can use them on your channel and anywhere else that follows our content policy. More detail is in the privacy policy.
